Ok, got it. If You do not want to disable Axis (which I do not see a
reason for keeping it enabled, when servo drives are homing it), then
I will agree with Andy's suggestion of using mux2 components.

If I understand correctly, Your intended homing procedure is allowing
servo drives move joints with considerably decreased torque in motors
machine hits the end of travel. Is that correct?
I am sure that even with greatly reduced torque in motors this is
totally wrong approach, because You still are breaking Your machine. I
still think that inductive proximity switch (or any other type of
limit switch) for each joint is the way
to go.

What is wrong with homing a gantry machine in released EMC2 versions?
My waterjet machine is a gantry machine and it worked fine with
gantrykins. I retrofitted a gantry-style plasma cutting machine in
summer and it also is happy with gantrykins.
