Where those resistors are, nestled between the opto's, I may as well just make another board. And I need a board vise too in addition to a smaller iron. This one has had one round of 'breadboard' I doubt if its salvageable for another. I found I had to cut away one corner to make room for the headstocks end cover bolt too. Fun and games, NOT.

If I can have the car tomorrow, I may run up to Fairmont & see what State Electronics has in small quality irons, and check the hobby shop for thinner sheet brass, this stuff is about .035 thick. If I could bend it to mount like a clipon heat sink, adjust it & seal with a drop of superglue, it could be what the Dr. ordered. I have drills down into the 80's. Thanks for the idea Stephan.
