I regularly run my Thing-O-Matic at 120 mm/sec while feeding (I can do 160 but the quality suffers), and travel at up to 200 mm/sec. Most older ToM's and cupcakes ran at 30 mm/sec, since the earlier firmware did not use acceleration, leading to missed steps at higher speeds.
