I agree... isn't that why they make carpet squares.. for situations just like this?? You know.. those stick on squares of carpeting. Weld up a steel hatch and stick the carpet squares to the top of it.. No problem. Regarding the women... Probably best to do this when the women are gone for the weekend.. otherwise it could cause a scene! ;-) When the hatch is discovered... claim ignorance.. Oh that thing...
