Guys,

I am in the planning phase of making a small machining center (i haven't
found one I'm pleased with...) and I need a tool changer. My idea at the
moment which still is in a sketching phase, is to make a Tormach style
changer; http://www.tormach.com/upgrades_tts_atc.html
I'm going the Mesa route so I think there's plenty of digital options to
design and run it, but I would be very happy if someone who has been into
it can help me out here. A "cook book" or documented build would be more
than welcome.

I will make pretty much everything on this machine myself, I like it that
way, but I plan to get a spindle and found a few like this one at Alibaba;

Yes, it's Chinese and so on, but they probably make it better than me. Any
strong reason why I shouldn't get one of these? If there's something I will
get from someone else, the spindle is the first thing to go. I will ask a
workshop here to make one, but I'm pretty sure it will cost me a fortune.

/Sven
