Pete,
no the unit is quite solid , like i said as far as the indent click it's
probably because i'm used to the more expensive MPG's , it's fine
the unit switches on by the silver button as a precaution more of a inbuilt
safety , the unit is configurable so if you want to make a button do
anything you want
you can by modifiying your hal files, it's by no means fixed , the back of
the case has 4 magnetic points so i can stick it on the side of the machine
when not in use .

you can turn the mpg without chasing it around the table top ,
as everything is programmable from linuxcnc point of view, it's fine
