I use gEDA too. I tried Eagle, but the making of devices is just _too_ difficult compared to gEDA. Too bad Eagle has become the standard, much like Windows. I also use Inkscape for documenting system layouts. Making and labeling blocks is easy, but the connection routing at my skill level is just running lines, so there is no intelligence behind the connections. There is also a LinuxCNC extension to Inkscape for generating g-code: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?InkscapeHowto http://www.cnc-club.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=35&start=420 gEDA has an extension for HAL: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?HalSchematicsUsingGschem -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New Year.
