And that makes at least as much sense as anything else I've read. But to really make use of it, I need to acquire another couple hundred in tool holders so that I am not forever changing the tool in one of the 2 or 3 holders I have, each time winding up with a different projection or Z offset... When I get back to working on the lathe, that sounds like I should do exactly that, order some more tool holders. Thanks John.
