In either event, I get this in nearly ghosted typeface:

please click the link: amt11.pdf

And clicking that link doesn't work either.  Iceweasels prefs say in 
about:config, that it is supposed to call okular for that display, it is 
installed.  But in this installation, iceweasel has yet to download and 
show me, a pdf.  Usually it can "save as" but on this site, it saves a 
text/html file that does not even contain an FQDN version of the link to 
the pdf file.  Konquerer can't even load the above link.  I'll put 
chromium back in to see if that works.  Yes it works.  So what the heck 
is blocking iceweasel?
