I am aware of that Andy but have no experience, which is why I mentioned the x86 platform specifically. I have thought of trying the BBB, but the comments in this thread so far are quite off-putting, No indexing and poor GFX speed would turn me off. Its gfx is slow enough on the X86 stuff, so What You See Is Not WHat You Are Getting.
