With the tank full of brine, I don't think thats a problem, but sucking 
the lid wrong side out is a worry. That would certainly need 
re-enforcement.

Mine is beside the furnace, and because of the hookup hoses, fairly 
portable, but the cat-ion tank is behind the furnace, with almost enough 
space for be to turn around in. Almost.
