I wonder if the AM series is not an older product line.   It is not
offered on the Leadshine website except if you hunt for PDF documents.
Copyright on the AM series docs is 2010.

Looked up closed loop offerings. (called "Easy Servo")  Yes very nice
but for a 3.0Nm system (one motor and one driver) the price  is $295
per axis vs $65 per axis for 3.0 Nm DM series.
