Personally, I think TI has dropped the black from their roadmap. I would
hesitate to move to it at this point. You might want to look at the PINE64

TI is not the problem, most of the Beagle Bones are made in China by a couple outfits. As long as the basic CPU chip is still made, there will be Beagle Bones.

The problem is that all of these Sitara chips are different, with different peripherals, etc. requiring an OS port and possibly confounding the interface to the PRU units.
