Thanks, I just looked up NativeCAM, found software on Github.    Looks good.
No,I did not know abut this before

The attractive thing about PathPilot is that is is a turn-key system.  It
works out
of the box and the user does not have to know anything about patching linux
kernels or editing poorly documented config files.  In other words it is a
finished product.

If LinuxCNC is ever going to have a larger following it will have to become
more "finished".
