Yes, found one more malloc(...) there software stopped since it's not 
implemented in my environment but replacing read_write() function with read() 
function since only read was necessary and malloc(...) function could be 
removed.

I think everything is OK. I have probably found out where I could find EEPROM 
mapping in datasheet and seems to be generated from *.esi file which is in 
*.xml format.

Now I just have figure out how Ethercat work before I could start to get 
something useful done. Ethercat should be the last bit of the puzzle to build 
some really good hardware.


I think DieBieSlave use soes from open ethercat society and I have changed 
software a little bit since I use Eclipse or more exact system workbench from 
ST. I should try to make a local fork and then think about where I could share 
it.
