Mine are on the lathes new apron, which is 1/2" alu. swarf would have to fly in from the side at quite a high velocity, plus the terminals on the rear are quite well countersunk in that 1/2" of alu. No hiccups yet in the year they've been there. Thats not to say it won't happen, eventually. Theres a Murphies Law corollary in there someplace. It will happen within 3 days of my using the spare I bought for something else. :) > > -----Original Message----- > > From: andy pugh [mailto:[email protected]] > > Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2018 4:40 PM > > To: Enhanced Machine Controller (EMC) > > Subject: Re: [Emc-users] Feed/Rapid override physical knob selection > > > > On Wed, 24 Oct 2018 at 21:14, Tomaz T. <[email protected]> wrote: > > > >There are two main choices, MPG ( > > > > https://www.ebay.co.uk/183476117151) > > > > > >or potentiometer-style encoder ( > > > > https://www.ebay.co.uk/152204137441) > > > > > > Your links doesn't work, what do I need to look for to get right > > > reaults? > > > > I cut too much.
