I /think/ the SainSmart 5 axis bob does give you a choice, but I've never intentionally used it. I'll have to check the docs as I've several copies in the garage. In any event I don't think the SainSmart bob is smart enough to need a reset anyway. The Mesa 7i76D however does need a full powerdown. The question then becomes how to I power the 7i76D from the 5i25 as I don't believe I can control the power to P3 and P2 independently. So for testing, the p2 will need to be disconnected. N! ways to screw it up just grew by one.
