On Axis there's a check box called Show machine limits in the View menu. Would not all of the various graphical interfaces have something similar? Even if it needs to be set as an INI flag rather than a screen checkbox? And in order to work doesn't the machine envelope have to be described? Otherwise you might well have homed and know where one end is, but the other end isn't searched for but instead is a parameter. Again, why wouldn't all the user interfaces have the same thing?
