I'm upgrading the old spindle motor for my Fadal VMC 15 rebuild project. I found a new old stock 11 KW 10000RPM Fadal spindle motor that I'll be installing in it's stead. A06B-1446-B100#0102.
It has an MZi encoder and a thermistor in the motor. I would like to integrate temperature monitoring. I'm using all mesa hardware. Does anyone have a good recommendation as to a nice clean "DIN" mountable way to interface the thermistor to my control? The manual says 30 to 90 KOhm at 20 to 30 deg Celsiuis. I don't know if they increase resistance with temp or decrease. Hopefully someone out there has some fanuc motor experience.
