This is what I bought for verifying RS232 messages which it does by decoding the 1'a and 0's. It's also a logic analyser and has the extras like an arbitrary wave form generator, voltmeter etc. for experimenting on the bench with electronics in general.
The only reason I don't use mine that much is my 4 channel digital scope with logic analyzer sits beside an Agilent arbitrary wave form generator and an Agilent 6.5 digit meter. Rounding out the party are several power supplies and a Portable 3Ghz RF Spectrum Analyzer. But although the Digilent discovery kit is only 30MHz bandwidth it's still very useful. https://digilent.com/shop/analog-discovery-2-100ms-s-usb-oscilloscope-logic-analyzer-and-variable-power-supply/ John Dammeyer > -----Original Message----- > From: Gregg Eshelman via Emc-users [mailto:emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net] > Sent: October-14-21 3:06 AM > To: Enhanced Machine Controller (EMC) > Cc: Gregg Eshelman > Subject: Re: [Emc-users] Fwd: Rogue Index Pulses > > 20+ years ago there was the Game Boy Digital Sampling Oscilloscope or GBDSO. > http://www.radanpro.com/Radan2400/TestShematics/GameBoyScope.pdfGameboy > 2-Channel Oscilloscope Cartridge > > | > | > | > | | | > > | > > | > | > | | > Gameboy 2-Channel Oscilloscope Cartridge > > > | > > | > > | > > > > > On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 06:32:54 AM MDT, Les Newell > <les.new...@fastmail.co.uk> wrote: > > That looks like a lot of scope for the money.
