Either one or both going false should result in a true, they are the
signals from the
drivers. in-2 is the motion-enable,. when its false the whole thing s/b
disabled
=false@out regardless of in-0 and in-1
in-3 could also be from the oneshot, which might simplify the signal
path. But I've
not tried that.
I have similar circuitry in the Sheldon that works but the interface is
a different card.
And it just works. The main diff is that I am feeding 5v to one side of
the fault circuit
in those drivers so I get a true from the -fault when faulted. On the
6040, the circuit is
inverted and I'm getting a short circuit to ground at fault. I think I
see what I have to
do now. Make that identical to whats in the Sheldon. The problem is the
12 volt field
i/o on the 7i76D. Definite shortage of 5v inputs. I'll have to check a
power fried LCDA357H
driver to see if I can feed that ALM+ with 12 or more volts and see
where it breaks down
and I get 12 volts from the ALM- terminal. its some sort of an opto
isolator internally.
Good docs in either brand of our english are similar to hens teeth. But
I just tried that
with the 15.4 volt supply in my soldering station and neither of them
broke down at
that impressed voltage.
So I assume I can dup the sheldon's circuit AND logic in 12volts.
I'll do that, sorry for the noise, Andy.
Take care & stay well.
Cheers, Gene Heskett.
