Greetings all;
I am about to add an axis B to my go704, replacing the one the new atpid burned up, apparently is not compatible with an angular axis.

my present hal setup has the old B on pwmgen.0 and the spindle on pwmgen.1, IIRC because I needed the 2 direction pins for the B axis that were only available on pwmgen.0, but if I enable another stepgen, it replaces pwmgen.1 requiring I put the spindle back on pwmgen.0. I can do that ok and take pwmgens=2 back out of the loadrt line that configures hm2.

My current B axis I note is defined as the A axis because at some point, the axis's defined had to be in order, so all the config/hal/ini stuff calls it axis A joint 3, but the interpreter runs it as axis B. It, like the old servo, spins the X axis, but will no need stepgens=4

Is there now a way around this axis order limitation so I can actually define it as XYZB now? That ability to skip an axis would end a lot of confusion here.

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene Heskett.
