Hello

Can any GUI follow the ToolPoint?

Like: moving camera to keep ToolPoint centered in view port?

( or some gcoe/mcode trick to refocus the view port to 'here')

Thx TomP

Just attach your camera to the spindle or Z axis and you are done.

Kind Regards.

Thanks for the idea,

But I want to see the plot followed.

The use is for sink-edm,

where the part is under an oil bath,

and the motion is tiny.

(so a camera would see smoke and wavy oil surface)

Seeing the plotted motion tells the operator a lot about

the stability and progress of the cut.

In order to see the plot at all,

the user has to zoom way in.

The largest circle in the picture is 0.127mm radius.

When the tool moves to the nest cut,

the tool tip is out of the view port,

and the user has the 'chase'  the tool.

The square orbit plot shows the tool center point's

progress as it advances along path, but retracts toward orbit center.

I am not happy with Zelle's graphic package for Python,

and will use the graphics in Axis et al .

Thx Tomp
