the other irritant is emms-player-list having mpg321 at the
front.

On my desktop I have mpg321 and mplayer, on my laptop only
mplayer.

Customizing and saving emms-player-list after deleting mpg321
appears to be non-sticky across emacs sessions.

Would be nice if emms just cycled through until it found a player.
