The message does not relate to the GnuPG key. A library that I use
produces this log entry if a mail account in Thunderbird does not have a
default identity.

In any case, the reason is as Andrew already suspected - the message
"TypeError: XPCOMUtils.generateQI is not a function" is the cause for
the blocked sending. I'll fix it for the next release.
