And you are right to be, but I don't think what I said was in any way

I don't want to fill the NEWS file automatically, not necessarily
anyway. I just don't want to fill the news, commit log + changelog
manually, that's what's driving me nuts. Having mostly the same text
duplicated 3 times all manually phrased just a bit differently.

I want to generate the changelog file automatically and just fill the
news file manually. Actually, it's not even that that I want, I just
want to stop writing the same thing 3 times.

But more important than that, do you understand that I wasn't trying to
offend you or disrespect your efforts in any way?
