Now my thoughts: Enlightenment devs don't give a crap about translations.

Some time ago Igor mentioned something like "zmike doesn't care... raster
doesn't care..." and raster reply "I do care..."

Do You? Cause I don't think so. I'll explain:

1) String freeze

No. Strings can change at any time.

It's a decision as valid as other but, for me, doesn't show that You care.
Usually there is a string freeze. Even if it's for 1 day.

Let's assume that release is today at x time and po file is updated.

But at x-1 someone commits something that breaks many strings (unlikely but
can happen) . I don't care. As long as e it's ok then everything is ok,

2) Patches

I don't know if Igor is a developer but he sent several patches in this list
to fix strings that could not be translated as written by devs (by the way
thanks for them).

Does this have to be this way? I don't think so. When a dev makes code changes
that should be translated why don't they make them translatable?

I'm a translator not a developer. And definitely don't have the knowledge to
to do it.

3) Releases

At this point we've had 8 alpha, 1 beta, 1 gamma and 1 lucky. 11 releases and
not a single one was mentioned in here. Don't we deserve to know?

Yes I can subscribe the list but when the message arrives there the release
was already made.

How hard can that be? Something like: "Translators, we are going to make a
release today/tomorrow at xx. Make sure You update translations to be included."

If we update them fine if not at least we were advised.

Those are my thoughts. I will continue to translate e cause I want to. I think
it's a good software but I also think that translators deserve more respect
than the one that is given. It looks like that translations aren't needed or
wanted.

Regards
