I'm more in favour of having multiple IP addresses (or different ports). The problems I have with agent forwarding are described here: http://www.unixwiz.net/techtips/ssh-agent-forwarding.html#sec This means for me I would only want to enable agent forwarding to machines where I would generally be comfortable storing my private key.
