An example would be that if the gadget hover layer is active (i.e. showing the gadgets) and I click on a window on the desktop (i.e. not on a gadget itself), that window will be focused/raised/etc. Now I need to click twice. If I get around to it, I'll have a look in the code and see if I can in any way contribute here.
