no way we maintain 2 build systems long term. there has to be a switch-over
where one is built in parallel to the other, once it gets to the point of
"works for me" so to speak then switch over as the default and the old one is
left for reference and then features added in to it. there is no way it can be
done in a day. but i don't think it has to be a fully 100% done with every
possible feature all singing and dancing build to get the the point of
usability and able to functionally day to day replace autofoo.
