fact is - a wiki with no access controls in this day and age is a stupid idea.
look at edevelop.org - look in the forums for the massive spam posts by
anonymous users. frankly no. there are nasty people out there who are willing
and able to do nasty things. get-e.org is a wiki - if you get access. you need
to ask for access. the price we pay for having nasty people on the internet
with spam etc. etc. is that we need to lock down access. if we lose possible
content then so be it. the cause of the problem is out there, not in here.
