That's what I suspected, but I couldn't find any explicit statement of
it anywhere. Which then basically means E17 isn't for me, which is a
shame because I liked everything I saw except for the WM part. I'll
have to give the tiling mode another go, but I suspect it's very
different from XMonad.

Yeah, I got that. I might actually switch to it independently of E17,
since LXDM is behaving a little strange sometimes.
