There are 51 items appearing in the Other Menu and 51 items in the
multimedia menu. I don't know where the Other Menu gets its data but it
also includes duplicate items that are in other parts of the menu e.g.
Accesories etc.

The Multimedia Menu consists of the audio programs I have installed;
midi stuff, synths, DAWs, audio server, meters, plugins, effects, drum
machines, session management, etc. plus video programs. Checking my
package manager I have approx 90 audio packages plus programs compiled
by me where official Debian packages don't exist or the Debian package
is too old.

I can start the missing programs from a terminal but it gets a bit messy
after a while.
