In my case I noticed the following:

- I always have "restore previous session" as my startup choice in
preferences
- after update to (exact version unknown) I was wondering that all my
tabs were not opened and I started with a blank browser
- I noticed that the checkmark was not set to "restore previous session"
in the preferences anymore and had to set it again
