(Maybe the Hotmail one is similar but I haven't heard of it before.)You don't actually have to remake the account, just open it and close it! And there's an easier way to do that tan through Tools/Accounts: control-click (or right-click if you have a 2-button mouse) the news server icon in the Folder List and choose Edit Account. Then click OK or press Return or Enter key. That does it, and you can now go to your newsgroup.
