Hi All!

I have been following this thread in lurk mode...

Thought I would decloak to say that I *am* a Beta tester for Pocket mac
(Yes, I agree it is the BEST pocket platform out there - but I digress...)

I will Pass on all your concerns to Terrance (the developer) I DO know that
a E'Rage conduit is supposed to be available real soon now and that a final
product is due 'soon' (sorry I cannot be more specific).

To answer some concerns:

Yes, I agree that a demo should be available and PocketMac is aware of this
and they are working to get one out.

File Sync DOES work - I have tested this

$65.00 might seem a bit steep - especially when Palm Sync is free. However I
remember a few years ago that to get your Palm to sync on a Outlook (PC)
Network you had to buy software that cost $129.00 a seat =:0

I am curious though -- what is the consensus -- what do YOU think is a fair
price to charge? Keep in mind that PocketPC is NOT as pervasive on the Mac
as is the Palm.

As always I am happy to keep this thread alive and discuss my new passion
(the PocketPC) with any who care to do so!

(Before you ask - I have a iPaq 3850 - SD slot but no bluetooth, 128MB SD
card - so I carry a LOT of MP3 files - sorry, but who needs a iPod? :-)

(More before you ask - I recommend the iPaq but also am impressed with the
new Toshiba unit! Either one is a great buy - and you will save a few bucks
if you buy the Toshiba HOWEVER PocketMac is not certified on any platform
other than the iPaq & the Jornada as of right now...)

Hope This Helps!
