Wow that was fast!! I have no idea what IMAP is but that aside I managed to do what you suggested?Do you have a non-Apple keyboard - or is that what they're calling it now? Traditionally, it's "alt" on Windows keyboards, "option" on Mac keyboards, although recently they add a tiny "alt" as well.
I assumed that the option key was the one with the apple on it, well I now know what you already knew that it is the key with ‘alt’ on it (told you I was a novice!!)
Anyhow I did as you suggested but picked typical rather than advanced (whimped out) rebuild and it worked fine, no more error.
You should, in fact, usually choose Typical rather than advanced, unless maybe your database is completely unusable or unopenable. You did the right thing.
Should I delete the Old Database and Old database cache?
Yes. Glad all is OK. The "Apple" key is usually called the "command" key, BTW.
