It sounds like Tal has already done both rebuilds if you look above.  Tal
may need to create a new identity and see if that helps.  You can archive
mail folders by dragging them to the desktop (be warned: you need to drag
subfolders separately!).  Save contacts by using File -> Export Contacts.

Now, create a new identity in Entourage under File -> Switch Identity.  Drag
your mail folders in and import your contacts through File -> Import /
"Import Information from a text file" / "Import contacts from a tab- or
comma- delimited text file".  Now, set up your accounts in Tools -> Accounts
(you can always switch identities and go back to the old one to check them).

See if this helps.  If so, you can keep using Entourage in the new identity.
If you feel the need to export other data to the new identity, consider
using Paul Berkowitz's "Export-Import Entourage" script package ($20),
available from AppleScript Central:
