Three, actually, since it also adds a space, but who's counting? :->. 76 is reasonable and fine most of the time, but I, too, would like to be able to change it. At least Entourage is a lot smarter than Outlook which wraps the text AFTER you send the mail, so you don't know whether your message will fall on one line or not. This is important when dealing with mailing list commands. BTW no RFC I know of *mandates* 80 characters as a line length, just as a suggested maximum to deal with some SMTP servers. > Most email clients (Eudora, etc.) seem to get it right. Eudora allows you to wrap at any arbitrary line length, but its best feature is that you can turn that setting off for single messages just by clicking a button on the toolbar. This is REALLY USEFUL when you're sending lengthy commands to a mailing list server, such as search (troubleshooting or crash) and (scripting or script) in pagemakr since 98/01/01 There's usually a workaround, but it's a useful feature. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
