No. The script method only works with modifier letters and real letters (A-Z), Not with Return. And as Denis said earlier, this method is not recommended even for those shortcuts: script assignments do not always override built-in assignments, Sometimes it's the other way around, sometimes noting happens (which I realize you'd like); sometimes you could even crash. It's not dependable. I'm intrigued that you often accidentally use command-return when you try to paste text. How is that? There is no application that has that as a keyboard shortcut for Paste. Every single Mac application uses command-V for paste, and command-C for copy-to-clipboard. It's so built-in that those two are virtually automatic for everyone (except you). Even on Windows, Paste in control-V. So where and how did you ever pick up command-Return? I can't see how you're ever going to work around this one except by selecting Entourage /Work Offline. If you press command-return you'll get an alert asking if you want to go online or just send that message, Click Cancel, When you really want to send a message, or when Send & Receive All runs, you'll get the same alert. Click to just make the one connection, not to go Online. Tedious, but if you can't help yourself from typing command-return, it's the only safety valve I know of. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X. It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
