I'd have to say I agree. I still remember the very good mnemonic: "Insert quote" for Command-'.
This is one of those things where for new users the key is just fine, but for upgrading users the change is less helpful than it is harmful. (I would nominate the re-assignment of Cmd-K in this category as well, especially since it causes the progress window to barge to the front and then not restore my previous window's focus...) > I still prefer Command-' because it's easier to remember than Command-V with > the Shift key held down.
