Now the time is correct in the Calendar entires, it is 4 hours later on the menu clock! Both places say Atlantic Standard Time.

Quit Entourage. Go to Dick/System Preferences/Date & Time/Time Zone, and make sure you have the correct city and time zone. Then go to /Network Time, if you're online, and click Set Time Now. Your menu clock should now show the correct time.
Open Entourage. Go to Preferences/Calendar and choose the same Time Zone with the same city (the same options are shown. Get the right one.) It should be correct now, except that events made when it was screwed up will still be wrong, and you will now have to correct those.
You haven't done that database rebuild yet, have you? Even if you can't download the 10.1.2 updater (about which I'm rather skeptical - try again), you do have SR-1 installed, so the rebuilding is fine. First try a Typical Rebuild (hold down Option key at launch). If you still get crashing and other oddities, do an Advanced Rebuild. Keep trying to download 10.1.2 updater.
