Paul, this is a clever, technical solution; however, it does not actually have any relevance to the problem described. Take a look at the original issue, which is getting companies, and other contacts without names, to sort properly in views that contain a mix of contacts with and without names.
Making the person create and maintain a special view and requiring that they open multiple windows to locate information is not addressing the issue. A challenge: can you come up with a solution that does not require any additional key strokes (and windows/views) beyond what would be needed if Entourage correctly sorted contacts by Company if no name is present? -- Eric Hildum > From: Paul Berkowitz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Wed, 22 Jan 2003 10:14:23 -0800 > To: Entourage Mac Talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: Sort order? > > What you could do would be to add (to any other categories they may have) a > category "Company" to all contacts of this sort (no names).
