I have no classic apps. I run strictly OS X. > Did you try a Typical Rebuild of your database? Start Entourage holding > down the Option key, then choose to do a Typical Rebuild. I have done that. Eventually, the problem recurs. Quitting and re-launching Entourage solves the problem, until it recurs. > If you have them, have you tried disabling QuickKeys/Grammarian/TypeIt4Me? > What about FaxSTF? Does quitting that make a difference if you have it > running? Of those, all I have is TypeIt4Me, and I did suspect that for a while, but the problem recurred even without TI4M. If I had to choose between Entourage and TI4M, I'm not sure which I'd choose, The OSX version of TI4M is a weak shadow of its OS 9 brother, but still indispensable to me... I've simply learned to live with Entourage using all available CPU time. After a while, I get fed up and quit. When I restart Entourage, it's fine again, then gradually gets slower and slower until I have to quit again. (This usually takes days, but occasionally only hours of exceptionally heavy use.) peter -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
