Dennis: As I've mentioned a few times in the past few months, it's not 100% consistent. For me, it happens most frequently when I click on a Custom Mail View, but it sometimes also happens when I click on a folder. (And every once in a long while it doesn't happen at all -- but that's rare.) What happens is: 1) Click on a Custom View or Folder. 2) Briefly see the contents of the Custom View or Folder (about a second). 3) Watch helplessly as the focus shifts back to top-level "On My Computer" (main window shows list of folders/Views) ;) Generally, immediately clicking on the same Custom View or Folder again causes it to stay selected. However, after the next mail check the problem returns. (In other words, it doesn't only happen the first time I click on a Custom View or Folder and then "fix" itself until I quit EvX.) I never have the Preview Pane open, but other people have reported that it also happens with the Preview Pane showing. Rebuilding the database and/or throwing away preferences doesn't fix the problem. The end result is fairly frustrating, as it usually takes two clicks on a Custom View or Folder, a couple seconds apart, before I can actually view that View or Folder.
