I'm sorry to have to disagree with you (especially given how much you've
contributed to the e-mail community), but...

Given the prevalence of hidden html code performing actions that are not
necessarily in the best interest of the reader, I prefer my email to be text
only.

And until we all have T3 lines (or the equivalent) into our offices -and-
homes, html is significantly more bandwidth consuming than text-based
communications.  If one really neeeeeeeds fancy graphics and flowery fonts
to get the message across, then just point me to a web page, please.
