Okay, so what are the possible problems with the User folder? The Database is an obvious candidate, and I can restore a fresh copy from backup. I already did a normal (?) rebuild - maybe I should do the other kind of rebuild? Remember, Entourage had been downloading messages from my POP mail boxes when it crashed. I'd like to at least get to those messages, otherwise they're gone forever. Anything else I should check or replace in the User folder to further narrow the possibilities?
