I can't imagine why you might want to turn off simple HTML as well, but you can use a script of Allen's which converts all HTML to plain text if you really want to. You can run it from a rule on all messages. > > I have a question related to the e-mail backgrounds. A relative sends my > wife e-mail messages with photos attached. If those images have been embedded (inserted), removing them probably alters the HTML tags in such a way that the background tags get removed or disengaged too. If the images have been simply sent as attachments so they appear at the bottom, as they would in plain text messages, I'd guess that the background image might still be there. However, you as recipient have no control over that, and most images are probably sent now as inserted in HTML messages. So you might be best clicking Message/Edit Message, typing a space anywhere, and saving - which saves as plain text. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
