Entourage can become confused, I've noticed, when you ask it about the From
line. It seems to consider the name and the address separate entities and
will not allow you to search or sort on the address when the name is
showing, e.g. in the mail window. Say I'm looking for messages from Joe
Smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and I filter based on FROM CONTAINS 1234, nothing
will appear. I have to filter based on the name, not the address. This may
be the case for you -- to Entourage, perhaps her name does NOT begin with a
quote mark!
Try this instead: FROM CONTAINS "@
