Bill, I'm dealing with the exact same error message (after doing a CCC copy to a new laptop via Target mode). I too have checked permissiosn on the entire ~Documents folder (and set them to R/W for my user). Hasn't stopped the error message from EntX.
I'm using 10.1.4 of OfficeX and 10.3.3 I did find some folders in ~Documents did not have R/W permissions after the CCC copy. THAT seems like a problem! I did a Repair Permissions, as well, but apparently, as suggested here, that does not affect Permissions in my User folder.
